My Process

Fluid Art- “Color defined by gravity”, is really not an accurate definition of acrylic pour art. In reality is it is color defined by density and gravity. My process begins with the mixing of the paints with a pouring medium or water to gain the correct consistency, viscosity and density. this allows the paints to flow when gravity is applied. The various techniques that I mention in the descriptions of the pieces, such as the “swipe”, “cloud pour”, “flip cup”, “chain pull” and dirty pour are all ways to create desired looks and texture in the art.

The Cells, the Cells!- Fluid Artists often speak of “cells” the circles or bubbles that emerge in acrylic pour art that enhance the design. I achieve this with additives to the paint such as silicon or alcohol and the application of heat. All fluid artist love to get cells. Mica flakes, glitter, gold or silver foil paint can be added as an embellishment to the piece.

Finishing- Once the art is dry, I can apply resin, or a water base top coat to add extra gloss and protection for the art.

Linda Tucker Photography- “Images that Speak”

My photographers journey started 10 years ago with a 1.3 mega pixel flip phone and the encouragement of an artists friend to pursue photography as a creative outlet. Capturing images had been a desire of mine since my youth, but was never fulfilled until 2010.

Intuitive Photography- being self taught, my intuition and ability to see “things in things” leads the way. The glory of creation and the wonders thereof is my favorite capture but I also enjoy shooting sports and special events. I provide businesses with product imagery and portraiture in my home studio.

I strive to provide imagery that need not be explained…. “Images that Speak”
